Martin advises on all aspects of IP law with particular experience in worldwide registration, protection, and exploitation of trade marks and designs. He handles trade mark opposition, cancellation, and revocation actions before the UK Intellectual Property Office and acts for clients before the Company Names Tribunal.

Martin also specialises in non-contentious IP matters, such as IP licensing agreements, and is particularly experienced in the acquisition and recovery of domain names having successfully pursued many complaints before Nominet and WIPO.

Outside of work Martin is a father of four, keen cook (but not baking – the science defeats him!) and on the golf course he is often picking balls out of hedges and the long grass.
